A night out with my handsome husband:)

I had to attend the banquet at the base for the military affairs committee I chair. It was a lot of fun. A great evening. We took a pic before we left and Nate wanted to say cheese too. Then he wanted to say bye.
At the banquet making our presentation and receiving our gift for supporting the airman for the 41st year. WOW!! This is a great program, my favorite committee to participate with:) Especially since I get to go to all of the functions and see all of those men in uniforms. But of course my husband looks the best in his uniform:)

the new caution sign at the hospital

Thekla was having a grand time when we were visiting Tiny T, P, and T at the hospital. Here she is in the waiting room. It was the Turners, Grammy, Papa, Mary, Cindy, Nick and I, and Thekla!

Nate's surgery

This is Nate after his pre-surgery meds. This is Nate at 6:30 in the morning...where am I?
Investigating the bed, what can it do?

Silly silly

Nate decided to wear his scarecrow hat from his 1st Halloween. He wore it almost the whole day. He played in it. He went to town in it. He is pretty much a silly boy. Nate's new toddler bed. He loves it!
Nate having an ice cream cone from DQ. What a mess. We were in dad's truck so it was o.k. ;)
Nate's version of the hookah.
He is actually taking his breathing treatment. He does a pretty good job.

Night night

Thekla the firefighter! Nick HAD to put on BLUE FIREFIGHTER pj's on her since Nate came home once in pink. I know in pink. We did take a picture, but I think Nick purposely erased it, I can't find it anywhere! the 3 muskateers
Super Nate! Up, up and away!
Super Thekla! Fly, who me?!?

wrapping up play time

Nate with the train set...it was his favorite Dad and Nate played with the gears
Nate liked working the construction site. With all of the road construction on 46 we pass tractors everyday. He has really become interested in what they are doing and how. He loves it when we have a red light and have the opportunity to stop and watch them work.
My little construction worker....I think he will be an engineer!

more playing...

Thekla riding the metro. Sasha too. Nate was showing me his pockets.
Nick was riding the bus with Nate and Thekla.
Nate driving the bus!

President's day fun

We decided to do something fun and different on Presidents day since we were all off and it was the day before Nate's surgery. That way we could all get our energy out and be exhausted so we could then take it easy the next couple of days. First we thought the zoo would be lots of fun. The weather didn't quite cooperate. So we bounced a few ideas and ended up in Austin at the children's museum. We had lots of fun. It was great! Everyone enjoyed our visit. Ella and Aubrey
