The annual trip to the Frio

In addition to many other "delays" this was the biggest. Oh well, God thought we needed to take our time and enjoy, so I did.

Thank you honey for giving me a jump and then fixing my battery when we got to the Frio.

Sasha is READING!!! And it's SUMMER!!

Actually in Sasha's defense, she enjoys reading and is a SUPER-FABULOUS student.

She had a GREAT freshman year, all A's. WAY TO GO SASH!

Who's that? Aiden and Nate meet again. They haven't seen each other since probably six months ago.

Nate gave "abra" which is short for abrasos in Spanish or hugs in English.

He liked Aiden.........

Aiden on the other hand is wondering "who is this crazy kid?" Aiden looks just like his dad-dad. I know Heather, they tell me that all the time too. I watch the little guy all day - every day and he looks like his dad, I can totally relate.

Nate on our walk. He is driving himself. Geez, if he could drive himself our walks in the morning would go a lot quicker and I wouldn't be getting a workout, especially up those darn hills.

The fam at the store. We walked up after dinner in the cabin to buy some ice cream. Nate is still chewing on his stick. I don't know how safe that is but he is quiet for once :) Ya know, he talks constantly.....I think he might be a sports commentator or lawyer....hmmmmmmm.

Nate figured out how to give dad some "zerbers" on his belly. It was a rip-roaring time. Everytime Nick would pull his shirt down, Nate would push it back up with such deliberation it was quite comical. We laughed really hard. Our tummies ached. Brushing his teeth. He flosses too! Playing 42. I still can't figure that game out. Jonathan was have a few margaritas. He claimed they were for everyone but I don't know?! Don't believe anything he says Randy.

The Kasbergs also joined the fam at the Frio. They stayed with Pauline and Mike.

All had a great time.

Memorial Day I

We spent Memorial Day Sunday at the Wuest's. Monday we went to the Island with the Dietert's and Aleman's - I didn't take any pictures that day because all we did was chase Nate around. He liked exploring. Ella is enjoying her cream cheese sopapillas. Thekla thinks they look yummy. What a life! A teenager sleeping? Papa had to go play in the corral too. Thekla's eating, but only things that match her swimsuit :) Jupiter apparently likes her sweet potatoes too!

That's Jake's dog, Jupiter, he is a cute little guy.

Memorial Day II

Nate, like always, searching for food. Then he found watermelon...and loved it!! As you can tell he has it all over! Comparing slices with Thekla. "Hers is bigger than mine, I think I'll try to trade"
