PreK4 and CSW

Our PreK4 Catholic Schools Week bulletin board :) How awesome!! Each student contributed a faith, service, and academic piece to teh board, also you see on the green banner, the kids are spelling the words "faith, service, academic". They all signed the board and we have a picture of each person as well :)
What an awesome class and experience for our PreK4 kiddos!

Momma, my tooth came out!

Nathaniel lost his first tooth today :) He was so excited. He has been so scared this week that it has been loose. He has also been having a difficult time eating since it was on the bottom in the front. Now, he has a little window!
Poor Sash, she is completely devastated that Natie is old enough to be losing teeth. So are her friends that remember the day he was born when they were in 8th grade and I called Sasha and told the office she had to call me because we were going to have a baby that day and wanted to tell Sasha and get her picked up from school. Such an exciting day, so many since Natie has been in our lives - it started with the day I found out I was pregnant with him, 5 pregnancy tests later, we believed this could really be happening after being told I wasn't going to have any more children.
My Nathaniel, my little miracle surprise. My Sasha, my real little miracle. What blessings God has given me - and now we begin another chapter with Natie, losing teeth! Wow, it is hard to believe. He is such a joy.
He was so excited and can't wait for the Tooth Fairy. He wants to set a trap for the Tooth Fairy because he wants to see what she looks like and find out if she lives at the North Pole with Santa Claus. Well if we create an extravagant trap I will be sure to document and share with you.
Congrats Natie on losing your first tooth!!!

Froggy Giggles

Froggy Giggles, Nate's class mascot, came to visit us this week. Spot was so excited that he had a friend come over. Froggy GIggles and Spot helped us with our class projects :)

Preparing for Catholic Schools week

We are working on our class project for Catholic Schools week. We made a rosary for Faith and painted a wrench purple for Service. We had a lot of fun working on this project, of course I ended up finishing the rosary. Which I probably would have done anyway because the fact that the beads were not uniform and sliding easily was driving my OCD nuts!!!! and of course it would not be an adventure working on any project without any mishaps, Nate dropped the beads all over the floor! Ugh, Natie, lets get these picked up and open the package after we set it on the table ok buddy?? Ok Momma, I'm sowry. --- Love you Natie :)

Pancakes by Chef Nate

We decided to start off with a nice bog breakfast :) First we made pancakes, well first Nate put down a PLASTIC cookie cutter to make shapes, instead of a metal one, BUT the rest of the pancakes were great and good .... turn around for a few seconds to to grab the camera and the pbj sandwich cutter gets melted to a pulp!
He was the chef cook to order that morning, he is pretty good at using the spatula and turning over the pancakes. We just have to practice reading the "bubbles" on the pancakes to know when to turn and when to be patient.
Then he called Abue and invited her to his restaurant. As a wonderful and loving grandmother does, she came right over to try the newest restaurant in town! and was charged, luckily he takes credit and wrote her bill, which she signed for him to redeem :)
Oh my Natie!!
Happy New Year, 2012 is going to be the BEST yet!!!
