January FLEW by!

January FLEW by! Where did January go? If this is what 2009 has in store, hold on to your seat! January has been fun, exciting, stressful, agonizing, and all new! God is so good and has revealed so many graces - it has been awesome. New years are a time for renewal and re-evalution, we, as a family have a new purpose. Our goal is to grow in faith, knowledge, communication and grow together. I know how sappy does that sound? Well sappy or not, we have had a great start to the new year and I hope you have too. God's Blessings! "We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we are ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great tresure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:7 ~ "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." ~ Philippians 3:14 ~

More workkk

While we were at Ju's, Brianna and Bianca were teaching Nate to play baseball. Here he is clapping at himself because he hit the ball. Batter, batter, swinngg!
Taking a break from it all.

Workkkk

Mo-mo workkkking at Ju's house, putting up a light in the backyard. Ju walking on the garage.
Ju holding the light post very diligently just like he was told to do.
Nate working in the office with mom. He is coloring a "neigh" or horse.

Play!!

The Chapa family had a great time together on New Year's Day. It is a tradition to be together as with any family. Mom really wanted us to start the new year together so we got together here at the house and everyone tried Nate's new playscape! Uncle Ju is trying out the new playscape.
Nate and Uncle Ju
Nate LOVES his slide! Nate loves to swing....

Play 2

Uncle Ju fell off the slide! Nate the gymnast!
Brian and Jorge. Jorge has the "I stepped on a nail smile"

Play 3 - the Fam

Mom and us:) My brothers and I with mom. We are so fortunate to have such a healthy, happy, and energetic mom! Mom, us, and our kids - the boys were all busy. Ray is in Korea, kind of difficult to have him in the picture. Mikey was working. Manuel wasn't here yet, he was running late.
Mom, us, and spouses. Oh and my spouse was working just like Mikey! Firefighters never have the day off, but often have to work the same day! Wait a minute, they girls are in the wrong spot!
OK this is better! Now they are with the right husband.
Chas and Jorge with "Gram".

Play 4

Nate wants to be on the back of the fire truck, like in the "old'n " days. Pulling my wagon.
Abue is trying out the new playscape!
Jeter and Mya are trying out the new slide too! Jeter liked it, Mya not so much.

Wake up to a beautiful DEER

I know it is kind of difficult to see, but this is our buck. We have watched him grow into this beautiful species. God is amazing.
