mom's lost it

SHE DROVE HERSELF TO SCHOOL. Okay so I remember how cool I felt to drive myself, but really what's a mom to do if she can't drive her favorite daughter to school on the first day. Well apparently, go by the parking lot and take a picture :) I know. I've lost it. Look how cute, her little RAV with her Varsity cheer sticker and dad's firefighter sticker. Her parking job is pretty decent too. She still won't let us take her first day of Jr year picture because her cheeks are still swollen so i guess I'll get a 2nd week of school Jr year picture. And I found a gray hair, but I think that is from Nate. Gotta love em, and I do. I HAVE THE BEST CHILDREN EVER!!!

the first day of school

So Nate found mama's glasses. He put them on, looked at Nick and I then said, " me Sonya." Just as matter-of-fact and then started mimicking me pick-up stuff and then went to lay in bed. Apparently I must do that too:) He is a funny little guy with a great personality! Our first day of school!
Nate say "cheeeese" for a picture before you go to big boy school!
The allergens have been terrible on us this summer. We have all suffered so much and have been using the nebulizer bunches, inhaler lots. Nate is becoming a pro and uses it very well watching TV (I know he shouldn't be watching TV but what can I say, it keeps him still). He will also sit still if you read books to him, with sound of course - the machine is kind of loud.
Have a GREAT first day of school everyone:)

The train show

Nate Thekla
and Charlotte
Ella, Papa, Meme, Tanta and Nick all went to the train show a couple of weeks ago. They had a great time. Here are some of the pics of the kids enjoying themselves. Nate loves to go to the train show, last time they went it was a Weber boy's day out, Nick, Papa, and Nate. This time all of the Weber cousin's went, except Konner, he is still to little. Although he is growing so big and is cute as a button:)

the train show continued ...

Nick's camera and stuff

So Nick got add-ons to his fancy camera and we have taken less pictures this summer than we have in a long time. Too difficult for this momma. I think I'll stick with my cheap little kodak, it works for me and I can download the pics to the camera in a timely fashion so I can upload the blog regularly!!! Yesterday Sash got her wisdom teeth removed. She is allergic to vicodin. Not pretty. I know how she feels unfortunately I am also allergic. Did I think of that? Nope. Poor thing I feel so bad that she had to endure the nausea and yuck feeling. Now we know. She is a happier camper today. Swelling yes. Yes. And yes. Nate started school this week. He was excited to go back to school. He was excited to meet his teacher. He was not excited to be in the big boy class and not the small class like last year. Me no like big school, me want small school. Yes me like big playground, have tractor. Me no want little playground. -- Uh Nate you need to decide here buddy -- He finally came to terms today and didn't cry or cling. On Wed, Nate ran down the hall after Nick. It was more than Nick could take. Yesterday he cried and stayed. Today, PRESTO, no crying. Progress. He just wasn't familliar with his new teacher, new schedule, and new potty training. YAY:) Pray for Nate and Sashie, my little baby's are having a hard week. The only way through the storm, is through the storm.

LTB

We had a lifeteen band party at JoAnne's to celebrate our LTB family and wish those Sr's heading to college the best :) It was a lot of fun!! Nicole's cheesecake was the hit of the party, absolutely delicious:D So yummy:)

the 4th

I know it was like over a month ago. So i've been a bit busy. I know, no excuse. Nate doesn't like the noise of the fireworks.
Isn't she beautiful?
silly little guy:)

So on the 4th we did our traditional Schramm burgers. Then off to the Wuest's. I didn't go I had a migraine that day. Then off to Landa Park for the fireworks. Hang out, wait till dark, then hang out, wait till traffic subsides, then back to the Wuest's for a midnight swim. It was a good day. I still have a difficult time during the 4th and Memorial holiday too since those were my dad's favorite holidays. He was all about patriotism and America. His ringtone was the Stars and Stripes.
