self portraits
Nate is into his independence these days. The phone rings, he trys to answer, he sees the camera, he takes pictures, he wants to cook, dress himself, undress himself, and tell us what to do. Here are some of his masterpieces....I hope you don't get too dizzy.
Right now, Nate has croup. Which until recently, like the past couple of years I always thought it was just a term, not an actual illness, what do I know I'm not a medical genius! He really sounds like a seal, very strange. 
I hope these close-ups help you see how Nate really looks like his momma and not so much like his dadda, just because he has blue eyes and all. jk. Actually I think he is a combination of us both, in a very cute sort of way. I know that sounds terribly conceited, but you know I am his momma and I can be and should be very proud of my son, after all he was the cutest baby in Comal county in 2007 :)~ Silly as he is.

Happy Birthday Nate
Happy Birthday to Nate!! 3-5-7 Nate's birthday. He is TWO!!!

Nate says, Thank you everyone for coming to my birthday party. I had a great time. I am sorry some of you could not come. My mom tried to hide some of my presents and only bring a couple out at a time, but I remembered and told her, "basketball nate yes, choo-choo play yes, truck mine, where are you?" Yeah, so much for bringing a couple of things out at a time. He already used all of the bubbles, and has asked for pretty much everything he saw. Silly Nate.

The Concert
Sasha has wanted to see Rascal Flatts for 4 years now. They are usually in SA around the time of cheerleading tryouts or testing or something else she can't miss. Well this year, they are not in SA but were at the Houston Rodeo. Nick and I drove the girls to Houston and spent the afternoon in the car to get to the rodeo and concert. We all had a great time! Loooong day. Worth it. Only 2/1/2 more years of high school for our girlie, YIKES! Where has the time gone?
