this week

Christmas is so much fun with kids. Sasha is getting oldder and the magic of Christmas isn't what it used to be. Now with Nate, we are all beginning to see the magic all over again. This is Sasha's advent calendar; each day you decorate the tree with another ornament. She loved it growing up - I know she's not quite grown yet but you know what I mean. Here she is sharing her tradition of Christmas with her brother. Such a sweet memory. We took out all of the Christmas toys Nate received last year. He played with them last year, mostly the nativity. This year he LOVES the train. He has played with that train all week. Santa and Claus(he doesn't say Mrs Claus, just Claus) have been riding on the train everyday. The train entertains him for almost an hour straight! memories:)
Abue made Nate a special Nate-size "tilla" or tortilla. Yummy! More memories:)
Nate is working on a masterpiece while mom cooks. He loves to cook or be in the kitchen watching what you are doing. Since I can't hold him and I have been searching for a way to entertain him. So far this has worked the best. He is on the stepstool he can see what I'm doing and he is making his art masterpiece. Memories:)
Nate loves to play the "tar" with dad. He likes to play the piano with mom too. I especially need help right now since I can only play one-handed. He great at helping play those keys! Memories:)
It's been a good week. Lots of new Nate things going on. He is growing so quickly and learning so much. It is amazing what those little minds pick-up.
