Charlotte, Nate, and Aiden. One evening, while Charlotte was in town with her mom Sarah, Aiden brought his parents Heather and Jonathan into town too. Sasha and Nate went with Papa, Grammy, Charlotte, and Sarah out to visit Big Mary, Michael, Heather, Jonathan, and Aiden. A great time was had by all - according to the pictures anyway. They had fun. And from the looks of it, scared Aiden, he may be traumatized by this event.
Nick and I were at a Teen ACTS meeting, gearing up for a July retreat. Our first summer TACTS. It has been really exciting. A bit challenging getting the teens on team to commit to the time it takes to prepare, the absences are stressing me out, otherwise, it is going very well. Thankfully, we were blessed with time to visit Aiden's parents while they were in town too. Sarah, Pauline, Sonya, Grammy, Papa, Nate, and Charlotte spent one evening at Huisache on the lawn listening to music. Grammy and Papa took the little ones home while the big girls got to hang out and have a good time visiting. Heather and Jonathan also came out and we had a really great time. Nick was at work that evening so he was feeling a little left out and decided to crash Heather and Jonathan's date. They went tubing down the comal and had a great time talking about their kids and how life had changed since they tubed last. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, parenting:) Isn't it fun, new, exciting, and sometimes a little stinky - in more ways than one.
We really have to make it a priority to visit and not let life take over. See you soon!
